Black Elm is my favorite coffee shop in Hendersonville! The coffee is perfect - strong and smooth. The food is great and they’ve recently updated their menu which I was excited about. I had the breakfast biscuit with turkey sausage and it was so good! I also love that you can get decaf espresso and it still tastes strong like regular.
Cafe is clean and well kept on the inside. Staff and friendly. And best part, is that the coffee is excellent! Latte has hints of chocolate in it even with no added flavours.

The employees so far have been super chill, the coffee is tasty, lattes well made, and food is levels above Starbucks across the street. This place will continue to be my weekly morning drive-thru even if there has been the occasional mistake (mix up with drink and ran out of toast for avocado toast before 830am once). 'Pobodies Nerfect.' Also a nice vibe inside to meet with friends, chill on couches and read, use WIFI, etc.
Discovered this place just outside of Nashville as I was traveling to Hendersonville for a work meeting. Ambiance/environment was a delight to sit down and get some work done, since my flight landed early. Staff was welcoming and friendly; the breakfast burrito was amazing. Most places skimp on filling towards the end of the burrito but I had a bite of the stuffing all the way to the end of the wrap. It was not overwhelming salty either, tasted perfect with just a dab of hot sauce. Will absolutely be back the next time I am in town!
We came because they have sugar free options. Most places only have sugar free vanilla, there is sugar free caramel & vanilla here. Coffee is rich in flavor, strong and great on the pallet. I live an hour away, but I’m glad to have an option in this area. I work here often, perfect little gem to visit. Staff was great! I’ll be back!
Best cold brew in the area! Gallatin/Hendersonville have needed a solid coffee shop for a very long time. Grateful for Black Elm's locations!
We always check out local coffee places and went to the Black Press becauseof their great reviews. The first thing we noticed was how good it smells in there, because they roast their own coffee The facility is very clean, the staff is very friendly and wearing a mask which we appreciate during times like this, and our order was done within minutes. We ordered a Cuban to go which was so good! Highly recommended.
